Holiday shopping getting you down? Fed up of your old bras? Why not try Elomi, a lingerie/swimwear brand designed to fit fuller bodies. In sizes 34-46, and C to K cup, there’s lots of choice for curvy ladies – and better yet, you don’t have to step foot into a changing room. There’s a comprehensive size guide to help you find the perfect fit.
While it was only established in 2008, Elomi has grown massively over that period, and it’s a really positive player in the rapidly growing plus-sized clothing market. It’s also making its mark in the mainstream retail space and launched its Live Limitless campaign in 2018. This monthly campaign focuses on a diverse group of influencers, examining how they live life without limits, and the boundaries they have to overcome – even if you’re not shopping, this is a good place to check if you’re looking for some extra body-positive inspiration.
We can't wait to have the Elomi team at The Curve Fashion Festival 2019. What's more, they're bringing the fabulous plus-size model and lingerie expert Georgina Horne AKA Fuller Figure Fuller Bust with them on the day! Head over to their stand for all the lingerie advice you need and to find out what their Live Limitless campaign is all about!
The only thing to note is that you can’t order Elomi products from Elomi (yet). Instead, you’ll need to find them at other online retailers, such as Bare Essentials or Bellissima – or you can find them offline at stores like Debenhams. Luckily, the Elomi website features a comprehensive list of all retailers that host Elomi branded products. And it’s well worth the extra legwork to find lingerie which fits as well as this does.
Currently, Elomi has over forty lingerie sets to choose from, and there are lots of options for different colours and designs. Mix and match to jazz things up a bit, or keep it classy and simple with a black matching set. Most sets come in a single block colour (keeping things bang-on-trend), but you’ll also find some gorgeous patterned designs (like the floral Mariella set – swoon). Elomi bras come in a variety of styles, including banded, bandless, basque and plunge – plus less-sexy but very important options, including sports and nursing bras. Expect to pay around £30-40.
Over on the swimwear side of things, Elomi has swim bras and briefs in a solid variety of designs and styles. For maximum comfort and style, choose a tankini; these are specially designed to be worn over the bras and briefs, keeping you covered up stylishly. Designs here are eyecatching and chic – look out for the bright blue floral Electroflower swimsuit, or geometric Aztec swimsuit. They all have seamless foam cups and internal powernet panels on the tummy, for extra comfort (and the support we all need!) and a streamlined silhouette.
